Marie It's difficult to pick just one favorite track. This EP has some of my favorite songs of all time. This music takes you on an emotional journey, not soon forgotten or taken lightly. Many a night I've sat, thinking, while enjoying this EP and it fills me with a sense of yearning. This music is indescribably stunning. Thank you for letting us be a part of your journey. Favorite track: When I Fear You, All Else Is Where It Should Be.
Bob

Bob iiah is one of the biggest surprises I had this year, playing some of the most soul crushing emotional music I've heard in quite a while. My stand out is Letter 86, which, to me, is an aural interpretation of a sweet nostalgic waltz on a lonely hill, at sunset, with no one else to watch. Favorite track: Letter 86.
Michael Reilly

Michael Reilly iiah have a sound formed from impassioned songs with highly affecting vocals; a combination that displays admirable mastery of how to create music that delivers thought, reflection and emotion. Enjoyably impressive. Favorite track: When I Fear You, All Else Is Where It Should Be.
Ed Sprake
Ed Sprake thumbnail
Ed Sprake Utterly unusual and interesting post rock with male vocals, perfectly rounding things off. An enthralling and rewarding listen that will be played many, many times over. A fantastic journey. Favorite track: Dusk.

TONY ZAGORAIOS Sometimes there are no enough words to describe a unique album and sound. Ilah is such a great experience to feel and hear...One of my best albums for 2015. Favorite track: Gunnhild.
Mud

Mud This album has a quality to it that reminds me of something not quite remembered, perhaps its the haunting vocals or the rhythmic flow of the drums and guitars. All I know is I wish there was more of it. Favorite track: Dusk.

Gunnhild 06:34
Mother, slowing down Running to save my soul Though I, I had known her power Eyes that fade and glisten Calling his name You burnt my heart out with your tongue I dreamt the south lands had but gone These anchored hearts avowed To find the lady out Searching For so long Mother, sewn my lot Whether asleep or lost Atone, in fire and stone, to keep her The path’s lost again Winter caused our end All sons must wait they say This world may break, all sons must wait This world may break, all sons must wait

Letter 86 03:38
Lying here I know it’s just another day Haunted, limping down the line Carefully flood the fear of sublime normality Still, it’s calling me home to you Wide awake, finding ways to undermine Every dam slowly caving in Greet the dawn cocooned in your sure serenity Nor brandished or gilt, just you

Sarah 07:46
On the latter road, that I dare to cross For the final peace I know you are Hide in the long safe dark corner lots Where my love’s lost Form the right accord, where it’s safe to talk Call her in the faith that I cannot show She’s been the source of all of this hope, but These thoughts fall short Of taking off Calling water Rushing riverbanks She’s lost She’s lost Open water And falling deeper in She’s lost She’s lost Let the water rage She’s lost She’s lost Sun’s a steady fade when you sleep alone Forced to find that peace I know you want Hide in the long safe dark corner lots Where my love’s lost Find her in the fall, with her face alight Judged to fit the form, that feels right She’s been the voice of every song, but Lie me on Tired sheets worn Calling water Rushing riverbanks She’s lost She’s lost Open water And falling deeper in She’s lost She’s lost Let the water rage To stop the suffering She’s lost As we stand astride The walls we came from As the cold wind cries Its song is days old We can’t forget That the light shines inwards On the edge of dark We’re still one step home Spare a thought For the lightless eyes And shake your fist At the walls we made
5.
Dusk 02:56
Awake, I walk alone, your voice It calls me forth to you Still it drags me down, that voice We both know the darkest room Hear me now I’m screaming out Wading through these listless clouds While only shallow cries are getting through You say you’re there with words you’re near But I can’t see your visage here Awake, there’s no one here to hold on to Let it go, its too much
6.
Her cold left slowly Beached on through my confides bare And loud inside, foregone all foregone Longing for something I know Burst apart the numb blind mind Silence seems the one true break So loud inside, of course the magic fails Longing for something I know
